Dear John,
I am happy that you will be in a place where you will be encouraged and appreciated.
We need to get past labels of conservative and liberal or republican and democrat, people need to wake up to the fact that they have all grown big government and that the founders of our great nation were really libertarians at heart.
"Conservatives"grow big brother through their "drug wars," which do more harm to society, the individual and our constitutional liberties than substance abuse. Being a Christian I do not condone certain behavior but if there is no victim there is no crime. "Liberals" grow Big Brother through their "social " programs which weaken families and so destroy the fabric of society, and undermine our constitutional liberties.
Republicans and democrats LOVE their "pork," entitlement programs, and government schools where indoctrination instead of education is the agenda.
So where do we go from here? How do we take our country back? Help us with these questions.
We need information on how to transition from big government to that "government that governs least governs best."
There are free market solutions for almost every service people think should be carried out by various governmental agencies and you need to continue educating people about these options.
I sent your article concerning Obama's health care speech to my Senators and Rep. and told them that is all I want to hear from capital hill. (There won't be ANY solutions from them because the problems they create are their solutions to grow government.)
People need to be educated on how destructive the drug war is to our country and civil liberties and how expensive it is, and how gang violence and corruption is nourished by the black market. People need to be educated that drug prohibition is the "natural manure" of big government and crime syndicates (not that there is much difference:)
We don't need a wall to keep illegal aliens out of country, they are the symptom of a greater problem. The problem is that we have become a socialist country. Get rid of socialistic entitlement programs, unfetter the marketplace and reduce taxes and watch the economy grow. There will be enough jobs to hire employees from the shrinking government sector as well as anyone else who wants to come here legally to work.
Having loved and appreciated your reports, as a breath of fresh air blowing away the fumes from the dump, I look forward to seeing what an unfettered John Stossel will report on the Fox News network,the ONLY news to watch.
